<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft device and an anti-theft method having good anti-theft performance of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When an occupant sets a shift lever 10A to P range, draws a parking brake and leaves from the vehicle while possessing an intelligent key 3 in the state that the vehicle is stopped and an engine is operated, AT device 10 performs shift lock by instrument from an intelligent key control unit 1 and further, the parking brake 11 locks the parking brake in the operation state. Thereby, although the engine of the vehicle is in the operation state, it becomes impossible that the vehicle is moved by a person other than the occupant possessing the intelligent key 3 by performing shift lock and lock of the parking brake and the anti-theft performance of the vehicle is enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
