<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounting device where maintenance work load can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic component mounting device used in an electronic component mounting line where an electronic component is mounted on a substrate, load torque values of a driving motor of a head moving mechanism moving a work head performing a prescribed work operation such as a mounting head are detected at the time of low rotation and high rotation of the motor, which are previously set as oil supply necessity judging operation. Detected values are compared with the torque value of an initial state detected in a state where grease is full. Thus, necessity of oil supply to the head moving mechanism is judged.
