<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent tape-form electronic circuit components from being connected with the following ones thereof different from predetermined ones. <P>SOLUTION: A tape-form electronic-circuit-component connecting device for connecting with each other ending and starting portions 40, 42 of two tape-form electronic circuit components 20 has a plurality of probes 182 and characteristic-value acquiring devices. The plurality of probes 182 can be connected respectively with the respective electrodes of the respective electronic circuit components 22 of two tapes positioned respectively by positioning devices. The characteristic-value acquiring devices are so connected with the probes 182 as to acquire the electric characteristic values of the respective electronic circuit components 22. The moving devices of the respective probes 182 are used in common with the ones of caulking tools 74 of caulking devices. However, the probes 182 are so contacted with the respective electrodes before the caulkings performed by the caulking devices as to acquire the electric characteristic values of the respective electronic circuit components 22. When the acquired electric characteristic values are different from each other, the effect is formed that the caulkings performed by the caulking devices are inhibited, and their mechanical caulking actuations are blocked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
