<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser splicing method for an optical component unit and a laser splicing device therefor by which the swelling of an internal wall is avoided, the manufacture cost is reduced, and the starting time at the time of switching a machine kind is shortened. <P>SOLUTION: The laser splicing method is a method for manufacturing an optical component unit for fixing a convex lens 8 housed along the inner wall 6 of a housing component 5 formed of resin on the inner wall 6. In the method, the inner wall 6 is irradiated with a laser beam by a laser beam radiation device 1 so that resin at a laser radiation part may be locally thermally welded to be in a viscous fluid state, the resin in the viscous fluid state is pushed in a space between the convex lens 8 and the inner wall 6, and then gas jetted radially in an obliquely downward direction from an upside position corresponding to the center part of the convex lens 8 by a gas jetting means having a nozzle unit 50 is made to directly blow off the laser radiation part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
