PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of display image quality caused by the presence of a protective film while increasing the device life by protecting electronic elements such as transistors formed on the substrate with the protective film in an optoelectronic device such as a liquid crystal device. SOLUTION: The optoelectronic device is equipped with pixel electrodes (9a) disposed on an image display region (10a), TFTs (202) disposed on a peripheral region located on the periphery of the image display region and forming a peripheral circuit, and the protective film (501) formed so as to cover at least a part of the peripheral region, on a TFT array substrate (10).
