PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement method of making a choice between a normally used card and a card where change can be recorded and deciding whether change is recorded in accordance with respective use styles. SOLUTION: A portion of change which is less than a specified amount is associated with each ID, is recorded as change information and can be appropriated for part of settlement money in next and subsequent settlement, and a step of selecting a 1st method of returning the remaining change in cash or a 2nd method of returning all of the change in cash is provided.
