PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust easily an initial angle and a play angle of a gas pedal which is pivotted by a floor at the lower end. SOLUTION: Since the initial angle and the play angle of the gas pedal 11 whose low end is swingably pivotted on a floor 13 is adjusted by an electric actuator 14, the pedal operation of a driver can be facilitated by selecting the initial angle and the play angle according to a makeup and liking of the driver or seat position. As adjustment of the initial angle or the play angle is performed by an electric actuators 14, not only a simple structure but also significant increase of adjustment flexibility are provided in comparison with mechanical tailoring. Also, since the reaction force by treading the gas pedal 11 is generated by the electric actuator 14, the relationship between a treading angle of the gas pedal 11 and the reaction force can be set arbitrarily at the driver's liking.
