PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator structure for a claw pole type stepping motor by which the miniaturization can be achieved without damaging motor performance and the reduction of manufacturing costs can be realized. SOLUTION: The stator structure for a claw pole type stepping motor is provided with an outer stator yoke 21 to which a plurality of pole teeth 26a are provided, an inner stator yoke 22 to which a plurality of pole teeth 26b are provided so as to respectively face and cross with a plurality of the pole teeth 26a, a coil 23 provided to the outer periphery of the pole teeth 26a, 26b, and a covering 25 for covering the coil 23. A stator outer wall part 27 is only partially formed. The covering 25 is exposed at the part where the stator outer wall part 27 is not formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
