PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower-cost planetary carrier with a pinion gear having a highly precise supporting face, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The planetary carrier 1 comprises a pair of plate portions 21, 31 opposed to each other for rotatably supporting the pinion gear and a plurality of connection portions 22 for connecting the pair of plate portions 21, 31 to each other. A plurality of side opening window portions 4 are formed between the adjacent connection portions 22 where the pinion gear can be arranged.
