PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a link operating device having a limiter function in the operation of each component of a link mechanism in controlling the attitude of the link mechanism by an actuator, and capable of easily mounting a rotating angle detecting means and leading the wiring for signal processing and the like. SOLUTION: In this link operating device, end link members 1a-3a are rotatably connected with input and output members respectively mounted at input and output sides, three sets or more of link mechanisms 1-3 composed of four rotational contrapositive parts 6a-8a for rotatably connecting the end link members 1a-3a of the input side and output side with central link members, are mounted, and the input side and the output side are geometrically same as each other with respect to a cross-sectional face of a central part of each link mechanism. Position detecting mechanism 33 respectively composed of detected part 31 mounted on shafts of the rotational contrapositive parts 6a-8a for connecting the input side end link members 1a-3a with the input member, and detecting parts 32 mounted on fixed positions opposite to the detected parts 31, are mounted for detecting the positions of the input-side end link members 1a-3a in a rotating range.
