PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pressure loss of cooling air in a swing frame for a construction machine, and an engine room for the construction machine. SOLUTION: An air duct S is provided for exhausting the cooling air to the outside of the machine along a main rail 31A located upstream in the axial flow direction of a fan, out of a lateral pair of main rails 32A, 32B provided along the longitudinal direction of a super structure to support the base end part of a working device in a vertically swingable manner, and the upstream side main rail 31A is used as at least a part of a duct wall surface forming the air duct S inside.
