CATALYST CONTAINING 10MR ZEOLITE AND 12MR ZEOLITE, AND ITS USAGE IN TRANSALKYLATION OF ALKYL AROMATIC HYDROCARBON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for such as using in a conversion of aromatic hydrocarbons. SOLUTION: The catalyst has at least one kind of zeolites with a channel having an opening defined by a ring(10MR) having 10 O atoms, at least one kind of zeolites with at least a channel or a side pocket having the opening defined by a ring(12MR) having 12 O atoms, at least one kind of metals selected from the group consisting of IIIA group metals and VIIB group metals, and at least one kind of porous inorganic matrices. The catalyst may also contain at least one kind of metals selected from the group consisting of IV groups metal and VI group metals. This catalyst is used for transalkylating toluene or benzene, and alkyl aromatic hydrocarbons such as alkyl aromatics containing at least 9 C atoms. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
