The protection has a steel cable (3) or a chain or a belt for fixing a sedimentation tank on an uprising surface of a transport vehicle e.g. transport trailer (2). The rope/chain/belt is rolled up by a pneumatic/hydraulic/hydro pneumatic/electric drive on a drum and/or pulley so that a cogging with pawl or a linchpin acting as mechanical locking units prevents the unintentional turning back of the drum and relieves the drive.
