A door hinge has a lower cylinder and a concentric upper cylinder linked by a bolt with a fluted shank. The bolt has a rubber sleeve and is concealed by the upper and lower cylinders. The rubber sleeve is secured to the fluting, but makes locking contact with the cylinder inner face when the door is arrested.
