The pump has pumping units (2, 3), where a suction connection (3a) of the unit (3) is connected with a pressure connection (2b) of the unit (2). A feeder line with increased diameter is provided between the two pumping units, so that additional absorption volume is made available. A cylinder bore of one of the units (2) is similar to that of the other unit (3). The pumping units (2, 3) are propelled by an eccentric cam. An independent claim is also included for a braking system of a vehicle comprising a pump.
