<p>The hydraulically operated clutch, also known as turbomatic and constantly filled with oil, has an elastic effect only within a particular range of speed of rotation. With a filling ring (1) the pump wheel (4) and the turbine wheel (3) are filled and emptied within a particularly short period. The ring (1) is slid into the appropriate direction pressing the fluid into the space between the turbine wheel (3) and the pump wheel (4). When the ring (1) is moved back for emptying the fluid is moved into the resulting gap (2) by the forces of gravity.</p> |
