FIELD: medical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: device has two hollow expandable organs, usable for fixing the device by resting them against two blood vessel wall areas, and one hollow intermediate part. Said intermediate part is subjected to twisting strain, the intensity of which is controlled depending on relative position of two hollow expandable organs for producing maximum constriction zone determining occlusion degree. Apparatus has two hollow cylindrical shells and piston. On of the shells is external one. It receives the first hollow expandable organ and at least some section of intermediate part. The other shell is internal one being rotating and sliding in the external shell and exerting pushing force applied to the first expandable organ. The piston slides in the internal shell and exerts pushing force applied to the second expandable organ free end. Method involves introducing the apparatus into a part of blood vessel. The first expandable organ is released by shifting the external shell relative to the internal one. The first expandable organ is fixed in required position. Then, the second expandable organ is rotated relative to the first one for twisting the intermediate part. The second expandable organ is fixed in rotated position adjusted according to required occlusion degree of given blood vessel. The second expandable organ is released by removing the internal shell retaining the piston in resting position and the apparatus is withdrawn. ^ EFFECT: simplified usage method; controlled full or partial occlusion. ^ 13 cl, 19 dwg
