<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condensate demineralizer which can suppress deterioration of water quality during ammonia operation to secure a water quality level equal to that of H, OH operation and reduces a reverse regeneration rate greatly, and its regeneration method. <P>SOLUTION: In the condensate demineralizer in which ion-exchange resin is filled, the filled ion-exchange resin consists of a multiple-bed made by alternately combining three or more anion resin layers and cation resin layers, and the resin layers are divided by separation walls so as not to be mixed with each other. In the multiple-bed made by combining the resin layers, the lowest layer may be slightly acidic cation resin. The top of the demineralizer has a condensate inflow port and the bottom has a condensate outflow port. An extraction pipe for extracting resin in the resin layer is disposed at the lowest part of each resin layer separated by the separation walls, and may be connected to a regeneration tower for each resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
