<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a user-friendly communication device. <P>SOLUTION: A communication device memories user data which are telephone directory data which are used for origination and termination of calls, and managed by a telephone directory function in a user data memory region 151 of a memory part 15. In a schedule alarm reporting function, a time counting part 17 detects a specified time of a birthday using birthday information included in the memorized telephone directory data stored in the user data memory region 151 by making the telephone directory function and the schedule alarm reporting function cooperate.
