<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrophotographic transfer paper having high whiteness, free of the occurrence of jammings and curling in an electrophotographic copying device and a printer or the like, and being superior in transfer aptitude, using the deinked pulp of non-sorted waste paper. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic transfer paper, in which waste paper pulp is blended by ≥5% and whose breaking length (JIS P8113) in the crossing direction is ≥3.0 km, the waste paper pulp is waste paper deinked pulp manufactured by adding a deinking agent to the non-sorted waste paper in multiple steps, at least at two or more spots, in a waste paper treatment step. The deinking agent is added in a pre-flotation step for removing ink or impurity, by performing flotation treatment to a fiber suspension passing through a disaggregation step or in its pre-step, and in a post-flotation step for removing the remaining ink or impurity, by performing the flotation treatment to the fiber suspension passing through a dispersion process for dispersing the remaining ink or impurity in the fiber suspension, by stirring and mixing the fiber suspension passing through the pre-flotation step or in its pre-step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
