<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a board capable of preventing separation of a soldered fixed fitting. <P>SOLUTION: The fixed fitting 40 is formed by bending, at a right angle, a mounting plate 42 in contact with a PCB 60 from the lower edge of a body plate 41 pressed in a mounting slot 30 of a housing 12. Solder entry holes 47 are formed in the mounting plate 42 with space, and fixed through solder H entered therein. Slits 50 opened to a projecting edge are formed on the mounting plate 42 between the respective solder entry holes 47. A central slit 50A is formed so as to rise over a root part of the body plate 41 continuing from the mounting plate 42 side. When force rolling the mounting plate 42 from one end side acts, the force is divided for every position of the slits 50 and particularly by the central slit 50A, the mounting plate stays in a state fixed on the left side even if it is rolled, for instance, on the right side, and the mounting plate 42 and therefore the housing 12 are prevented from coming off from the PCB 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
