<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating a parameter from signals showing parameters received from a plurality of redundant sensors, and to provide its device. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for estimating the parameter in accordance with signals received from the redundant sensors, at least a first detection signal and a second detection signal are received from the first and second redundant sensors corresponding thereto. The first detection signal and the second detection signal show parameters, respectively, and have first accuracy and second accuracy relating thereto, respectively. A reference signal showing the parameter and having relating reference accuracy is received. In accordance with at least one of the first accuracy, the second accuracy and the reference accuracy, weighting is determined in accordance with at least the first detection signal and the second detection signal.
