PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost and high-workability calibrating camera available for both the geometric correction and the color correction in a constitution selectively using at least three optical filters. SOLUTION: The calibrating camera available for both the geometric correction and the color correction is composed of an optical lens unit 2 with a photographing lens 1 mounted therein; an optical filter unit 4 disposed in its front stage with at least three optical filters 3 mounted therein; a filter switch part 5 for selecting and placing one of the three optical filters 3 at a light measuring position on an optical path; a near-IR cutting unit 7 disposed at the latter stage of the optical path of the optical lens unit 2 with a near-IR cut filter 6 mounted therein; a monochromatic photographing unit 9 composed of imaging devices 8 disposed at the latter stage of the near-IR cutting unit 7, an image saving unit 11 for saving taken monochromatic images; and a gain corrector 11 for correcting the sensitivity change on the basis of the taken monochromatic image using the selected optical filter 3 by the filter switch 5.
