PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mixture that doest not require a specific carrier, has excellent storage stability, exhibits a light color and comprises a sulfur-containing organosilicon compound as a main component and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The mixture is obtained by reacting a sulfur-containing organosilicon compound (1) represented by general formula [1] (R<SP>1</SP>-O)<SB>3</SB>-Si-R<SP>2</SP>-Sx-R<SP>2</SP>-Si-(O-R<SP>1</SP>)<SB>3</SB>[1] (R<SP>1</SP>is a 1-5C monofunctional hydrocarbon group; R<SP>2</SP>is a 1-9C bifunctional hydrocarbon group; x is an integer of 2-6) with a silicate-containing inorganic filler (2) in the presence of a weakly acidic compound (3), then neutralizing the reaction product with a metal oxide (4) and newly additionally adding a sulfur-containing organosilicon compound (1).
