PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus capable of efficiently coating with an adhesive in a continuous carrying line, and an apparatus for manufacturing laminated wood. SOLUTION: The coating apparatus 5 coating the faces to be stuck of laminae 9 of laminated wood 900 prepared by stacking and sticking a plurality of the laminae 9 with the adhesive, is equipped with a carrying part 31 for carrying the laminae 9, a coating part 32 for coating the faces to be stuck of the laminae 9 carried by the carrying part 31 with the adhesive, and a moving mechanism part 33 for moving the coating part 32 in the horizontal direction.
