PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier laminated film formed by successively providing a plastic base material (A), a primer layer (B) and a metal oxide thin film layer (C) and excellent in adhesion with the metal oxide thin film layer, bending resistance and heat resistance, and to further provide a primer composition good in storage stability. SOLUTION: The primer composition is composed of an organic compound (a) having a polymerizable unsaturated group, a metal alkoxide (b) having at least two alkoxy groups in its molecule and a condensate thereof, a polymerization initiator (c) and an optical acid forming agent (d) is adapted to the formation of the primer layer (B).
