LIQUID SELF-FEEDING TYPE SPINDLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding fluid self-feeding type spindle in which grinding fluid is effectively fed to a part to be worked of a straight cup grinding wheel attached to its tip. SOLUTION: The grinding fluid self-feeding type spindle 1 comprises: a spindle body 2; a shaft hole 3 extending to penetrate the spindle body 2; a tip opening part 4 of the spindle body 2 to which the straight cup grinding wheel 5 is co-axially attached; a rear end opening part 6 of the spindle body 2 for introducing the grinding fluid into the shaft hole 3; and four spiral grooves 8 formed in an inner circumferential face 3a of the shaft hole. The grinding fluid is supplied to a center part of an annular part 9 to be worked of the straight cup grinding wheel 5 attached to the tip opening part 4 through the shaft hole 3 with pressure-feeding force generated by the spiral grooves 8 along with rotation of the spindle body 2.
