PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which prevents the deterioration of uniformity by preventing the collision between droplets after preparation and liquid just after spurt or droplets just after preparation in the apparatus for spurting a dispersion phase from an orifice hole into a slurry vessel filled with a continuous phase and producing droplets. SOLUTION: In the droplet production apparatus, when the number of the orifice holes existing per 10 cm<SP>2</SP>of a part where the orifice holes are most closely arranged is N', the average number of the orifice holes existing per 10cm<SP>2</SP>of the vessel cross-section is N and the volume of the produced droplets is V [mm<SP>3</SP>], V, N' and N satisfies V×(N'/N)≥0.05, preferably V×(N'/N)≥0.2.
