PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher that is capable of crushing a material to be crushed with a relatively large size without excluding the material to be crushed, thereby accomplishing the enhancement of working efficiency. SOLUTION: The crusher has an opening part for the throwing port of the material to be crushed at the upper part and is provided with a movable crushing body 38 which is rotated by a driving device, in the casing 31 of which the side is closed. The crusher is provided with a fixed crushing body 46 which is installed at the inner face of the front wall 28 of the casing and has a protrusion 46a for crushing to crush the material to be crushed between the movable crushing body 38 therewith. The projection part 50 which projects to the movable crushing body 38 side at the higher position than the upper part of the movable crushing body 38 is installed at the fixed crushing body 46 installed at the front wall 28. The projection part 50 prevents the material to be crushed from rising and crushes the same efficiently. Also, in place of the projection part 50, the fixed crushing body may be made into arc or sloped configuration, or the protrusion for crushing that has a large amount of protrusion may be installed.
