PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case for a thin-camera which is suitable for a hand-held photographing and a photographing using a tripod. SOLUTION: In the case 10 into which a digital still camera 20 can be inserted from its lateral side, a hook-and-looped fastener 11e provided on the side of the free end 11-3 of a cover can be overlapped with a hook-and-looped fastener 11g of a front surface for closing, and a screw hole 14a for fixing the tripod is formed at a sheet metal 14 arranged at the bottom cover 15 of the case 10. Thus, ordinary photographing and photographing with the tripod 50 can be performed covered with the case 10, and the holding feeling of the digital still camera 20 is improved by overlapping of the fasteners 11e and 11g.
