PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purification unit which can accomplish the automatic priming for a blood circuit and enables the automatic returning of the blood left in the blood circulation circuit after a blood purifying processing and moreover, eliminates the need of a tube for overflow in the priming. SOLUTION: The blood purification unit comprises a blood purifier 1, the blood circuits 21 and 22, a blood pump 23, a priming liquid supplying line 3 connected to an artery side blood circuit 21 on the upstream side of the blood pump 23, and the air bubble sensor 25 of a vein side blood circuit 22. An artery side blood drawing part (the base end part of the artery side blood circuit 21) is provided with a blood drawing side connector 211 and the vein side blood circuit 22 is provided with a vein side connector 222 connectable to the blood drawing side connector 211 closely to the blood purifier. Moreover, an open/close means V1 is provided in the artery side blood circuit 21 on the upstream side from a connection part 26 of the priming liquid supplying line 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
