The fitting for the connecting of furniture panels (10) at an angle to one another is generally in the shape of a L. A hole (14) for a fastening screw in one side (12) tapers in the direction of the panel, and the cross piece (13) of the L-shaped fitting on the side facing the panel has a protrusion (16) tapering in the direction of the panel, and through this protrusion extends a hole (15) for a fastening screw. The protrusion fits into the hole in the side of an identical furniture fitting.
