FIELD: method and device for hydrocarbon containing formation heating for hydrocarbon, hydrogen and/or other product production. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves providing heat from one or several heaters in well inside reservoir , wherein the first well end is in contact with ground surface in the first location and the second well end is in contact with ground surface in the second location; providing heat supply from well to at least one reservoir zone to perform pyrolysis of at least one hydrocarbon portion in reservoir. Coal carbonization of part of hydrocarbon reservoir is decreased. Pressure and temperature are regulated in said reservoir to control fluid properties in said formation, to regulate condensable fluid portion and to prevent reservoir subsidence. ^ EFFECT: increased method efficiency and device reliability. ^ 45 cl, 10 dwg
