FIELD: manufacture of plastic pipes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to connecting appliances made of plastic materials or specially designed for use with plastic pipes. Proposed method of connection of spiral-seam pipes of coiled hollow section includes forming of end face surfaces on inner and outer walls of hollow section of ends of pipes to be connected, mating of screw-shaped surfaces of coiled hollow section of spiral-seam pipes and butt-joining of flat end face surfaces with subsequent fastening. End face surface on inner wall is formed by removing part of inner wall of coiled hollow section on one end of pipes to be connected, and end face surface of outer wall is formed by removing, on other end of pipes to be connected, part of outer wall of coiled hollow section. Mating of screw shaped surfaces is provided by screwing said ends together. ^ EFFECT: provision of fitting and reliable butt-jointing of pipes at assembling pipelines arranged in different positions. ^ 1 dwg |
