<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition having image storage properties and clogging reliability and to provide an inkjet recording method and a recorded matter using the ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition comprises water, an organic solvent and a cyan-based dye represented by the formula wherein the ink composition contains a compound having static viscosity at 20°C of less than 1 Pa×s and vapor pressure of 1 Pa or less as the organic solvent.
