<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter enabling reduction in the size of a filter and lowering an operating frequency for reducing the loss of a secondary inverter simultaneously when the secondary inverter performs high frequency PWM operation in the vicinity of a zero system voltage. <P>SOLUTION: Outside the output range of a first inverter 12 generating a sine wave, a second inverter 15 where respective joints of two sets of arms each composed of the series connection of two switching elements are connected with both poles of a single phase system 16 is operated while providing a phase difference in the switching period of each arm in one period of the system 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
