VIDEO CONTENT RECORDING/DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, SERVER SYSTEM, PORTABLE TELEPHONE, AND VIDEO CONTENT RECORDING/DISTRIBUTION METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video contents recording/distribution system which allows both recording reservation and viewing of of television program using a personal digital assistant at a desired place, with high security level.

SOLUTION: The personal digital assistant allows recording video contents through a network by reservation, and also allows viewing of the video contents that is recorded according to a recording reservation command which is received through the network. The server system is provided in which the personal digital assistant is authenticated using identification information specific to the personal digital assistant when it is connected, and the video contents recorded according to recording preservation is converted into the format that can be viewed with the personal digital assistant, which is distributed to the personal digital assistant through the network.
