<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high visibility rod body requiring no light source to show high visibility at night. <P>SOLUTION: The high visibility rod body 10 is provided with a light emitting part 1 linearly to obtain high visibility at night even from an oblique direction by the light emitting part 1 with a small surface area, and since the light emitting part 1 emits light by light coming from the circumference, high visibility can be obtained at night without requiring a light source. A synthetic resin coating layer 3 is provided outside a rod-like body 2, and the synthetic resin coating layer 3 is provided with the light emitting part 1.
