<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device to effectively prevent the lamp movement. <P>SOLUTION: Each of lamps (110, etc.) in a lamp unit (100) has a first electrode and a second electrode formed on a first side, and a bent part on a second side facing the first side. A cover member (600, 610) is provided on at least one region of the region, corresponding to the bent parts and a region corresponding to the first and second electrodes. Lamp support members (210a, etc.) fix the bent parts of the lamp unit. Accordingly, U-shaped or C-shaped lamps each by one lamp unit generating the same light as two units of straight-shaped lamps are constituted so as to be fixed.
