<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a webbing take-up device which is not only capable of rotating a take-up shaft by a motor but also simple and compact in structure and excellent in weight balance. <P>SOLUTION: In the webbing take-up device 10, a clutch 26 is arranged on the side of one leg plate 16, and a motor 44 is arranged between the leg plate 16 and a leg plate 18 immediately below a take-up shaft 20 while a rotary shaft 50 is orthogonal to the take-up shaft 20. Thus, the motor 44 which is a large component is not protruded outwardly from a frame 12 (the leg plates 16, 18), a space between the pair of the leg plate 16 and the leg plate 18 can be effectively utilized, and the webbing take-up device can be miniaturized on the whole. Further, the entire weight balance of the device can be shifted to the center side of the opposing direction of the leg plate 16 and the leg plate 18, and the webbing take-up device 10 can be stabilized in terms of weight. In addition, a motor gear part 46 and a clutch gear part 28 (driving force transmission means) to connect the rotary shaft 50 of the motor 44 to the clutch 26 can be reasonably arranged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
