<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage on a seal arranged in a socket connecting with a pipe for pressurized air or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The socket 1 having balls 4 selectively locking a plug 7 comprises a cylindrical connector portion 5 combined with the inner periphery of a sleeve 2 at one end, an inner periphery portion inserting the plug 7 from the other end of the sleeve 2, and a seal 6 interposed between the connector portion 5 and an end 7A of the plug 7 and supported at an outer peripheral side by the sleeve 2. The connector portion 5 has an end face 51 pushing the outer peripheral portion of the seal 6 and a tapered surface 52 extended at a designated angle. A through hole 50A is formed on the inner periphery of the tapered surface 52. The inner diameter of the through hole 50A and the inner diameter of the end 7A of the plug are almost equally arranged, and the inner diameter of the seal 6 is arranged to be larger than the inner diameter of the through hole 50A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
