摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston type compressor capable of efficiently discharging residual gas left in a discharge hole to a communication passage. <P>SOLUTION: In this piston type compressor, a rotary valve 42 is housed in a housing hole 41 of a cylinder block 11, and the residual gas left in a compression chamber 22 after concluding discharge is recovered to the compression chamber 22, of which pressure is lower than that of the compression chamber 22 after concluding discharge, through the communication passage 43 for communicating the compression chamber 22 formed in the cylinder block 11 with the housing hole 41 and a residual gas bypass passage 45 formed in the peripheral surface 42a of the rotary valve 42. An opening part 43b of the communication passage 43 on a compression chamber 22 side thereof has a valve port forming body side opening surface 61 facing to a surface 13a of a valve port forming body 13 on a cylinder block 11 side thereof. The valve port forming body 13 is formed with a discharge hole 26 at a position, in which the communication passage 43 and the discharge hole 26 are allowed to communicate with each other through the valve port forming body side opening surface 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
