<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an occupant of a vehicle from receiving collision loads from a brake pedal. <P>SOLUTION: When detection signals indicating collision of a vehicle or prediction signals indicating possibility of collision of the vehicle are inputted from a collision detecting and predicting part 21, a pedal reaction force control part 22 of a control unit 11 sets a reaction force load acting on a brake pedal 13 by a pedal drive motor 15 regardless of detection results of a pedal operation volume sensor 14, or acts a rotary drive force to an oscillation shaft 13a of the brake pedal 13 in a treading force direction by the pedal drive motor 15, so as to move the brake pedal 13 to a predetermined position in the pedal treading direction (for example, such as a position, where the brake pedal 13 contacts a dash panel). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
