摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain metal oxide nanoparticles dispersed stably in a hydrophobic polymer binder of a charge transport layer of a photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The handling process of metal oxide nanoparticles comprises the step of mixing metal oxide nanoparticles, solvent, and a surface treating agent. The surface-treated metal oxide nanoparticles become hydrophobic by binding with the surface treating agent on the surface, and is dispersed in a hydrophobic aromatic polymer binder of the charge transport layer of the photoreceptor by formingπ-πinteraction between preferably an organic section on the surface of the nanoparticles and an aromatic component of the binder polymer.
