PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presence information providing system for providing presence information suitable at every application for utilizing a presence service without arranging a special device at the side of an existing presence service, and to provide a method and a server thereof. SOLUTION: A presence processing server 30 connected between presence servers 10A, 10B processes client A presence information to be received from the presence server 10A and client B presence information to be received from the presence server 10B into the presence information which are suitable for respective applications.
