PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating a silicone resin coated film by again generating a uniform silicone resin coating film on the surface of the used carrier in the silicon resin coated carrier used for the two-component developer and the method capable of satisfactorily regenerating even the carrier containing the toner which is made smaller in particularly in the grain size and firmly sticks to the carrier surface, the regenerated silicone resin coated carrier, a two-component developer containing the carrier, an image forming method using the two-component developer, an image forming apparatus, and a developing container. SOLUTION: The toner is peeled from the two-component developer composed of the silicone resin coated carrier and the toner and the resultant carrier is immersed into a liquid mixture composed of water, a hydrophilic organic liquid and a liquid for resin dissolution and the coating resin is removed.
