摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording medium having excellent smoothness and electromagnetic transducing characteristics and excellent long term storage capability, nearly free from a failure and falling of a magnetic layer at the time of web conveyance in a manufacturing step and having excellent productivity. SOLUTION: The magnetic recording medium having a radiation curing layer formed by curing a radiation curable compound containing layer by irradiation and the magnetic layer formed by dispersing ferromagnetic powder in a binder successively on a non-magnetic substrate is characterized in that the radiation curable compound contains a radiation curable polyester compound having four or more radiation curable functional groups in its molecule.
