PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording/reproducing device capable of stabilizing the recording and reproducing state of an optical disk regarding an optical recording/reproducing device used for a CD or DVD recording/reproducing type drive or the like. SOLUTION: A tracking driving offset amount 21 is given to a tracking driving signal 19 to detect a divided wobble signal balance, a lens error signal, a wobble jitter value, and the number of ATIP reading errors. A CPU 16 makes a memory 17 store a tracking driving offset amount wherein the wobble signal balance is uniform, the lens error signal reference voltage, and wobble jitter value are minimum and the ATIP reading errors are minimum on the basis of the wobble signal balance, a lens error signal, the wobble jitter signal value, the number of ATIP reading errors, and tracking driving offset amounts therefor. Further, when recording/reproducing to/from an optical disk 1, the CPU 16 adds the tracking driving offset amount read from the memory 17 to the tracking driving signal 19 to control a beam spot position.
