PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording/reproducing device equipped with a tray panel without being deformed even in the case of performing a high temperature test. SOLUTION: When a disk tray 8 moves in a transmitting direction from the device main body by drive of a tray driving mechanism 9, a rack-like gear 7 provided in the disk tray 8 moves and a pinion gear 6 engaged into the rack-like gear 7 is rotated. When the pinion gear 6 is rotated, the tray panel 5 is opened and the disk tray 8 is guided to a predetermined position outside the device main body. In addition, when the disk tray 8 is stored in the device main body, the disk tray 8 moves in a direction to be stored in the device main body, thus, the pinion gear 6 is inversely rotated and the tray panel 5 is closed. Such a tray panel 5 is not deformed even when the high temperature test of the device is performed since no spring is used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
