PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drink cooling device for forming an ice bank in which icing is made in all stages of an evaporation coil under all conditions. SOLUTION: An evaporation coil 36 is formed by a forward passage pipe 36b wound in a coil in a staggered arrangement having a refrigerant inlet 36a in which a liquid refrigerant whose pressure is reduced by a capillary tube 35 flows in, a return passage pipe 36d wound in a coil in a staggered arrangement having a refrigerant outlet 36e in which a gas refrigerant where the liquid refrigerant is evaporated flows out, and a U bend 36c for joining the forward passage pipe 36b and the return passage pipe 36d, and the forward passage pipe 36b and the return passage pipe 36d are adhered alternately for winding. Then, the liquid refrigerant flowing in from the refrigerant inlet 36a flows in the lower direction of the return passage pipe 36b successively, changes the flowing direction at the U bend 36c, flows in the upper direction of the return passage pipe 36d, is evaporated to become a gas refrigerant, and flows out of the refrigerant outlet 36e.
